Jonah: "Mommy, I go outside by myself."

Me: "No, Jonah. You go outside with Mommy or Daddy, not by yourself."

Jonah: "Superman goes outside by himself!"

Me: "Yes, he does go out by himself."

Jonah: "Superman goes outside by himself, and he got owwies."

Me: "He did?"

Jonah: "Yes! Bad guys hurt him!"

Me: "They hurt Superman?"

Jonah: "Yeah . . . I go outside with Mommy and Daddy!"
